Arrived for my appointment and checked in. Waited five minutes and I was called in for my blood to be drawn. The tech introduced herself to me and I was seated while she explained the procedure. I informed her that two nurses tried to draw blood the day before at my doctor’s office without success. My tech told me she would not stick me unless she was confident that she had a vein. I have requested my lab results be mailed to me four times and each time I have been ignored.
I’ve never felt like such a burden or had a more unprofessional experience. My provider gave me a lab order to bring to a lab of my choice, I picked Quest. When I was brought back for my appointment, they looked at my paperwork with irritation and said “this is going to be a fun one” and then looked back at me like there was something significantly wrong with me.
