Headed over to the Quesnel Civic Arena on a Sunday morning hoping to grab some shots of the early hockey practice session, and the natural light coming through those high windows was honestly perfect for the kind of action photos I had in mind. The ice surface was in great condition and the whole place had that classic small-town rink feel that you just can't fake.
