Absolutely do not see Dr Mitch Bourne. His registration records show he graduated in this specialty in 2024. My mother Janice recently went to him for a simple initial consultation. He declared her unable to drive. At 84 she was a safe driver who would only drive in the middle of the day to the local shops. Now all of that is gone. Without doing any formal assessment he also removed capacity. This means she cannot access nor have control over her own money. She is greatly distressed. Absolutely avoid Dr Mitch Bourne. My mum Janice went in for a simple check up, referred by her local GP. With no warning, Dr Mitch Bourne cancelled my mother's driver's license (she is a good and safe driver and only in her early 80's - no accidents and only drives around the middle of the day to the local shops). He also deemed Mum incapable of managing her own affairs at a time she had moved away from a neglectful sibling into the home of my older sister. Dr Wen Law was simply superb. Genuinely caring, kind, interested, knowledgeable and informative. My mum and I left feeling very reassured and listened to. Highly recommend. A fabulous doctor.
