Needing a specialist for my 9 year old son I am extremely grateful to have seen Pete Smith. His knowledge is far superior to allergists I have seen for myself. I was so impressed by the care and attention shown to my son. My childs and my own questions were answered in detail and my son left a happy boy and myself full of confidence for his future treatment options. The allergy test was very organised and quickly done. Dr Smith is very easy to talk to and in my opinion very knowledgeable. I am confident he took into account a lot of different factors and I have found his advice very worthwhile.

Honestly so rude, I was calling to see if I could get an appointment for my 1y/o and the receptionist Rose cut me off and said straight away what I needed to have, a referral etc. But had she not rudely interrupted me, I was already going to say that I had emailed this and had no response. She then found the email and proceeded to say in a rudely manner, “we don’t have appointments and probably won’t this week, someone will contact you” so blunt and rude. All the staff at Queensland Allergy Services, Professor Pete Smith, his nursing staff and receptionists are all very comfortable to work with: they are easy to ask questions of, share concerns with, they listen and you receive helpful professional advice. Professor Pete Smith is kind and caring in his manner., making sure his patient understands the diagnosis, it's causes, if known, and treatment options, if options available.
