My younger daughters both had to have dental surgery. We're from kamloops but we're advised that the wait time for a pediatric anesthesiologist is shorter in Revelstoke if we were opening to travel. I'm so glad we did. The hospital is smaller and not so overwhelming for kids. We dealt with 3 nurses, the anesthesiologist and the dental surgeon and they were all so kind. Terrible, staff is rude and dismissive they will not provide you with any assistance.
I see a lot of old reviews on here. I can't agree with them. I have had about 15 hospital visits this year. A couple for myself and the others for my wife who had surgery and then some complications. We are not people who frequent hospitals often. Here is my experience: If you are unlucky enough to go to emerge after hours, you get to ring a door bell. The most efficient hospital experience I have ever had. In and out in about 25 mins for 3 stitches on my hand and a tetanus booster. Impressed.
