I walked in this morning to book an appointment with the doctor on call. I walked up to the desk and all I said was “I need to see a doctor on call”. The receptionist told me that it is not fair that I walked in and I want (somehow) to make other people wait and next time to make sure to call in before I come. Doctors are amazing. Front desk workers are awful. Very rude, agressive, and have no sense of medical customer service. Unwilling to help. This has been the case for years. The receptionists need overview and supervision, based on numerous experiences. When dealing with medical topics, you dont want to feel like you are talking to a sassy 16 year old girl who dislikes you.
I’ve been coming here for 10 years and have never had any issues. The staff is always friendly—both in person and over the phone—and the doctors and nurses are excellent. It really feels like they genuinely care and look out for you.
Doctors are helpful and great. The front desk employees are another case. They have no knowledge of family doctor processes and referrals and have no problem solving skills when trying to help a patient that needs to see their doctor. Lady who answered the phone was rude constantly raising her voice and speaking over me, all while being very unwelcoming from the beginning of the call to the end. I waited on hold for 15 minutes just to speak with someone who acted like they were the one on hold for 15 minutes.
