Contractor beware! – Ordered eight yards of concrete to be delivered at noon on Saturday. They called several hours before they were to deliver and said it would be $10.00 more a yard then was quoted. We called around 11:00 and asked if they could push the truck back 30 minutes and they said they were running a little behind and it would be 1:00. Queen Ready Mix – I nearly feel bad for them the company but he is always saleing bad concrete its always breaking on the job i have to rip it out and get someone with experience like southern star concrete thats who you need to go with .
Best concrte in the area – I have been in the concrete business since 1970 and would like to state my opinion of the service and quality of the products of The Queen ready mix concrete. The quality of the material is very satisfactory . I have never had a Hot load of material (meaning concrete in the drum too long, or new concrete dumped over concrete already in the drum) sent to my job site.
