At Queen Pin, they’re not only extremely talented, but also incredibly kind. I ordered a dress online and received it on a Friday, planning to wear it that night for our anniversary dinner — but it was too large in the waist. Christa did a wonderful job altering my mom's wedding dress for me. She was kind, patient and professional. Lovely to work with!
Unfortunately I had a very negative experience here. Had to get a bridesmaid dress one size too big hemmed and taken in at the waist and bust, paid half ($90). When I went to try it on, it was so tight I couldn’t breathe. I was told it could be taken out again. The thick fabric was blamed, no measurements were taken. So I waited a week and a half, called, and was told it was done. Went in to try on again, was still unbelievably tight and could barely be zipped up. I needed alterations for my Wedding Gown. Christa was super friendly, very clear and helpful in getting the dress to fit exactly as I wanted. Some bullet point things that I really liked/appreciated: - She is very knowledgeable and offered some wonderful suggestions. - Her site is very easy to use for online booking. - Her shop has some really cute antiques. - She's very transparent about cost.
