Unprofessional don’t leave her alone with your kids, she’ll bully them
I had never had the chance to tell how the owner is such a bully until now. Granted I was a few years younger but she pretty much bullied me the entire time. 1.) she came late, took me to the hair store across the street and made ME pay for the hair. 2.) she ordered food and demanded I pay her the total amount right then and there. (I did but looking back I would’ve just left her shop). 3.) she disappeared for about an hour after that and didn’t notify me or anything. She never disappoints me, I always get my dreads retwist with her and I’m always loving it. She always get me right.
I went back to The Queen of New York for braids, and let me tell you, it just keeps getting better! Lisa is a braiding genius, seriously top-notch skills. Her shop is always spotless, and bonus - there's free parking on Sundays! If you need a new braider, Lisa is an absolute must-try.
