I have never been to the shop Queen of braides, however I plan on setting up an appointment soon. The reason I am typing this is because, we as black individuals need to look out for one another. For the people who actually wrote a bad review, I do understand why and how you would feel a type of way about the service you received, but was not pleased. I can't really say anything about the services. I called on Friday and she checked her dates of availability and schedule me for Sunday. Due to schedule conflicts my appointment was canceled 12 hours before my appointment which was 8:00 the next day. I had to call up some one 8:30 that night to get another appointment on such short notice. I normally would go to Fayetteville NC to get my hair done but decided to use someone local to save me a trip ,but now I know . I will stick with what I know. This was my first time going to a salon in about 3-4 years. I went in there for a trim and a blow out. She charged me $120. She gave me layers, and seriously heat damaged my natural hair. THIS WAS THE WORST SALON EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. I feel like she up charged me for her previous client cancelling and now my hair smells like a burnt perm. I'm never going back.
