I recently got my braids done this Saturday at Queen Maman and the Braider used so much gel that all my braids turned white and sticky and I can’t even wear them out properly. Overall this place is very unhygienic. The tubs of gel they use come out of dirty buckets and they just slap gel on the top of the dirty lids for each client. I when to get my hair braided by Queen Maman African. They charge. $220. For box braids. They have.done. Arriabble job. My coworker said go back. And get your money. These ladies do not no how to braids at all please don’t. Go to. This. Place they don’t no. How to. Braids. At all. Please ladies. Don’t go here. The braiding is really bad!

This isn't my first very bad experience. The Stylist didn't speak ANY English, she's been there for at least 10 months. She doesn't want to speak English obviously because there aren't that many words used to communicate with a hair braider. By my now she should know some words or she is "like many" a liar. She was rude and used too much of the "white stuff", She put a disgusting smelly towel on my neck, dropped the comb on the desperately needs mopping floor.
