Very poor health system , 15 hours waiting period.
I went in with a swollen cheek and pretty bad pain being caused by my wisdom teeth. I tell the First Lady I saw that I was on vyvanse for my ADHD, I watched her write it on the sheet of paper. Then I went to see the doctor(who was holding this sheet of paper) and he prescribed me Percocet. I got home and did some research only to find out that taking Percocet with vyvanse can be very very dangerous and is not recommended.
Currently entering my seventh hour in the ER at QEH. Triage process was good, but it’s been downhill since then. Last saw a nurse/doctor some 5 hours ago. I think staff are pleasant and well intentioned, but communication is non existent and the entire operation seems very disorganized. May review again later….
