I won't get into the specifics of my experience and did not want to write this review, but after seeing other reviews and a segment on the news about Queen City Quartz & Granite, I feel obligated to share some advice with anyone having troubles with Duane. Show up to his shop and put pressure on him. Ask for proof that material was ordered, etc. If he's not there, show up again and again. If the door is locked, wait until someone comes out. STEER CLEAR! THEY TOOK MY $5,000 FOR GRANITE COUNTERTOPS AND NEVER INSTALLED MY COUNTERTOPS THAT WERE DUE 5 WEEKS AGO! HE HAS TOTALLY GHOSTED ME, NO RETURN PHONE CALLS, NOONE ANSWERS THE LOCKED DOOR IN PERSON, YET CARS ARE THERE! I WANT MY MONEY BACK! I'VE NEVER EXPERIENCED SUCH A SHADY BUSINESS IN MY LIFE! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR STAY AWAY!!
Took friends parents money and ran, they had to take him to court and they still haven't gotten their money back
THIEVES! I gave them a $3,600 deposit on December 11, 2023, and as of April 19, 2024 they have done nothing. They will not return any calls or texts. I will be taking them to court to try to recover my money. AVOID Queen City Quartz, they are thieves.
Poor customer service. Queen City Quartz and Granite requires 1/2 of the cost as a down payment, another quarter when they come to measure and the last payment upon completion. I worked with the owner, Duane Polar. He cashed both my initial deposit and the 2nd payment when they came to measure. After ordering I had to go into the showroom because they weren’t calling to schedule or returning my calls. They ended up scheduling the install.
