I had an amazing experience with my midwife, SKYE . She was incredibly supportive, kind, and professional throughout the entire process. During labour, she stayed by my side the whole time, offering both emotional and physical support, which made a huge difference for me. Even after the birth, she continued to check in on us regularly, making sure both baby and I were doing well. I truly felt cared for, respected, and safe in her hands. Had my baby here in 2023, prenatal care was ok, no complaints there. I was induced at 39 weeks, they started with the pessary, after 24 hours it was removed, they did a cervical check and said it hadn't worked. 3 hours later my waters broke and I started having contractions back to back, I asked for an epidural, they said I wasn't ready for it because I needed to be 4cm or active labour, funny think is, nobody checked again how many cm I was.
