I was a 20-year Quarles customer which was acquired by Superior in 2024. When I detected a propane leak in March of 2025, I called for service, and was quoted roughly $300 to repair. Their initial repair attempt failed, and they said they needed to drain the tank, which was only 5% full (roughly 12 gallons). I called Quarles to have a tank removed since we were being charged even with it sitting empty at our house. I called 4/11 to schedule someone to pick up the tank. Then I called 04/21 because no one returned my call to schedule the tank pick up. I was informed that someone would come on 04/24 to get the tank. 04/24 comes and goes and no one got the tank. 04/25 Called back and they said they would transfer my request to the main office so someone can call me back and schedule a pick up. I received a $249 penalty charge for not ordering propane in 2024. I normally get it in December but I was in the hospital and recovering from surgery. Either way, this is ridiculous. They already change s hefty rental fee.

I called for a delivery January 10, 2025. I called back this afternoon to make sure my delivery was confirmed to be on this Friday. After being on hold on the phone for approximately 1.5 hours I was told that I may get a delivery. I have told them every time I call that I have no insulation in my house and I depend on the propane to heat my house! I am fed up with Quarles/ Superior Plus Propane Company due to their lousy customer service!!

We are currently at 9% on our propane tank and called twice within the last week to see when our tank would be filled. All they could tell us is that our home is “on the delivery route”. We will be out of propane just in time for single digit weather and unable to heat our home. Absolutely horrendous customer service since Superior Plus took over. We will be switching. We never had this issue with Quarles in our 8 years living here.
