I purchased one hundred and seventy five gallons plus and that was it. Customer Service lacks training. The after hours answering service claim to be Quarles employees so you waste time trying to have an issue resolved only to be told that customer service will call the next business day. Just take a message. I sent a payment for \$479.00 to the billing address given on the statement (a P.O. BOX) and they claimed it was never received. I was charged a late fee and had to pay a STOP PAYMENT FEE to my bank for the lost check. ... read more

I was got a refill price over the phone and then they stuck it to me when it was delivered. I called, but the people I talked with had a I don t care attitude. When I go there Monday 07/21/14, I am going to tell them to take the tank back and I will let everyone know if they try a charge me for that.
Quarles Energy Service is a true customer service orientated business. They have continuously provided high quality service in both delivery and in response on the phone. The owner of this company drives a \$280.000 Aston Martin DB9 and lives in Fawn Lake near Fredericksburg,Va . The company also makes you pay a \$55 membership fee to be a customer. These propane companies are UNREGULATED in what they charge you to deliver LP. some of them charge you by the size of the tank, some charge by how much you use. Some just charge by what they can get away with. My suggestion go with a reputable dealer like the farmers friend; Southern States.. They treat everyone neighborly; dont see anyone driving... read more

I was informed by a letter from Quarles claiming that their company is the ONLY COMPANY THAT LEGALLY SUPPLY LP in my neighborhood. They also ask me to sign agreement to buy over certain amount of LP each year, otherwise some kind of fee will be charged. Sounds very unreasonable. I do not believe this kind of claims. -Chuck
