It’s a nice place, close to downtown.
Unpleasant. Paying six figures to buy just to live among an increasing number of units turned rentals. The area is not safe. Constant disruptive renovations - monthly water shut off. Communal facilities are run down. Elevator broken for months. Front gate broken for weeks. Loud neighbors.
Calling this place a loud dump would be generous. Hammering at 9:30AM on New Year's. No soundproofing. Weed smoking idiot coughing for 30 minutes every morning. Clip clop of the heeled beast upstairs. Music vibrating the walls. Months to fix elevator. No pets - but I've seen two dogs.
Everyday things seem to get worse. Broken elevators. Broken exit gate. Water often shut off first Monday of the month. Trash chute odor. Tap dancing cow upstairs who I can hear vomitting in the bathroom (no insulation). I'd love to know how many rentals we have vs owner occupied units. Can't sit on my patio due to the weed smoking idiot below. I've never paid this much to live so poorly.
