Amazing after-sales support from the Team at Quantum in South Australia. Sally went above and beyond her duties to find us an available repair person to fix our quantum heat pump compressor. The repairer, Ben, came on time and was quick and professional. Thanks to Sally we have hot water tonight.
I purchased a new quantum hot water unit for my new build in Cowaramup Western Australia. 7 years later the unit has developed a leak which is not repairable. This is a terrible outcome environmentally and financially. My plumber contacted quantum to seek a replacement and they refused. The warranty is only for 5 years on the tank and it seems they designed it to last exactly that. I would not recommend these heaters at all.
Installed a quantum unit at a cost of $4300 exactly 10 years ago and has just split the tank. Granted at the time we got a government rebate of a couple of thousand but a tank that lasts only 10 years has cost an estimated price of $430 a year. we couldnt have saved that per year in electricity savings. A bit disappointed to say the least.[
