BEST PLACE IN TOWN – This is the best place in town to bring your car in for all your vehicle service needs. Their staff are very friendly and professional. The service is fast and they do GREAT quality repairs. I took my vehicle in for a tune up and a timing belt replacement. Their prices are really fair, compared to other shops around town. Scam – Went there to get smog on 2001 Honda Civic LX. Told that it had failed said it needed diagnostic 95.00. After diagnostic they said Cadalytic converter is bad. The most expensive part of the smog and the least likely to go out on a vehicle. this was on Feb 12th 2010 its now may 20th and I'm still waiting for them to give me the final estimate. They say they had a hard time finding the part. I called today and they said call back in 15 minutes. Its been 2 months and they want 15 more minutes.
gas Cap Scam – Got smog check. Was told gas cap failed. Asked to see the failure. Cap put in tester and passed.
AVOID!! – Okay, so here's my recent experience with this shop: 7/27/09 Pay $800 for Brakes and Car Door handle Pick up car and about to leave when I notice the door frame a little loose. Also there are scratches in the tint. Also, there is another key because if I wanted to use the same key it would cost extra. This was not mentioned in the original estimate. Great Friendly service for a cheap price – I love these guys. I have been going there since 2002. They offer fast, friendly and courteous service. The reason I go to them is because of there price and their knowledge about cars. I have used them for 15, 30, 60, 90 and 100K Mile service. Last time they replaced a water pump on my car and gave me a free car rental for a day. Its hard to find these type of mechanic shops in Bay area.
