I have stayed in hotels off and on for years, and this hotel was a much welcome and unexpected gem! It is in Addison, Texas, which is full of restaurants and hotels; yet this one is set just a bit apart from the epicenter of Addison so it is a little bit more private, which was a welcome bonus. Room is okay. However, the entire hotel smells like weed and cigarettes. The elevator floor is coming apart and had a pool of mystery liquid. Screaming kids and rowdy families. The desk clerk took 15 minutes to check me in because he was answering the phone, cashing out people buying snacks, and couldn’t seem to focus on our family. Hallways reeked so bad of weed and cigarettes that we didn’t want to open our door. The smell permeated our bathrooms, too. The WiFi had a suspicious name so we couldn’t trust it (see photos).
Worst hotel stay ever!!!! As soon as you enter the hotel, you can smell smoke. Sofa literally just needs to be burned. Asked for a roll away bed and got one that was filthy and nothing but springs! They have a bench in the room covered in what looks to be either mildew, mold or stains. Sheets on bed had so much black spots and found several hair strands on the bed. Booked our room and checked us in knowing we had 6 guests. Waits til after we get to the room to inform us there are no towels. Who the heck runs a hotel with no towels for guests. If that is how far you have cut corners good ess knows what else. Bedbugs? Cockroaches? No hot water? ... we will never know cause WE COULDNT TAKE A SHOWET THERE WERE NO TOWELS. according to the front desk they had none to offer and would not wash any so that we could have some.
