I booked the night before, so after my 10 hour drive I’d have a room ready. It was not ready. Waited for my room, was told it would be on the second floor, no elevator. I have a bad knee due to an injury from which I was assaulted at work: waited even longer. Got a bill at 5 am under the door, that woke me up. Had to go get that taken care of. Their pool is closed. I stayed here because they had a pool. The woman behind the counter said that she was the manager. Was obscenely rude and would not let me talk to anybody In higher authority than her, I will never come back to this hotel again.
This hotel is in a good location, it's too bad is so outdated and unclean. On the plus side, the bed was pretty good and the staff at the front desk were cheerful. The hotel doesn't have an elevator so you have to haul your luggage up the stairs. The desk clerk helpfully put us on the ground floor. The room looked nothing like the website, the floor was cheap laminate that was coming apart. Maintenance tried unsuccessfully to fill the gaps with white caulk. Hair all over the bathroom and shower, looked like it hadn’t been clean in a while. When we called front desk to ask when the last time it was cleaned or if they have Clorox wipes or something, they front desk said their not management and “that’s what you get when you don’t stay at your own own.” Like what?! No hospitality or any sense of trying to help out their customers at all. No one should stay here if they treat their customers like this and don’t care to clean their rooms fully.
