Was able to book this hotel after midnight, after motel 6 refused to honor my reservation with a third party site. The night manager Michael was super nice on the phone and in person and comforted me because I was so stressed out by my bad experience with the other hotel. It’s really nice to see people that care so much about their businesses. Good room and good breakfast, and more importantly, excellent service.
It was excellent, I would go back, they are very friendly
The employees were very nice, however the room was not good. I am guessing they had some type of water damage as the laminate floors were popping up. We had to request a roll of duct tape from the front desk and then I taped the floors in our room so that we did not trip over the popping boards. There were other issues with electric plugs not working, the bathroom and other things but they were mostly cosmetic. They are in the process of remodeling, however they should have said something when the reservations were made.
I have a policy of only posting positive reviews, trying to keep in mind that most people, and places, are doing their best. However, our experience here was so negative that I'm making a "buyer beware" exception. We stayed over the Texas Tech graduation weekend, and we were charged $344 a night for a 2-bed "suite", and while we knew it wouldn't be the height of luxury, we expected clean and comfortable.
