Someone came into my room and left the window wide open (this was on the ground floor) when I was gone for a couple hours. I had my bag sitting on a couch beneath the window with my passport inside… this could have easily been taken if some opportunist on the outside of the hotel had taken notice. If it was housekeeping that left the window open, why would they enter the room and then disregard changing out the dirty towels, remaking the beds, or taking out the trash? The hotel felt pretty rundown. The hallway carpets were dirty. The walls had scuffs and marks everywhere. The room number sign was missing in the hallway and my room number was written on the wall with Sharpie. The hallway light shown through around the door to my room. We could easily hear people in adjacent rooms and above us through the night. We didn't even want to try the food given the state of everything else. The location worked out well for going to Red Rocks, but I will stay somewhere else next time.

The first floor fire exit closest to the Baymont Hotel is always locked because the latch is broken and management does not want to pay to fix it. The fire exit next to the indoor pool is always blocked open because the key system for the door is broken and.... The sheets and pillowcases are stained before you even open the bed. DO NOT STAY HERE! we had a terrible experience with our room and the customer service. We found hair in the bed, there was weird looking liquids on the counters with other stains on the counters, gross stains all over the shower and the room smelled horrible. The front desk tried to blame it on us. We were there for only a few minutes because we could NOT stay in that room, and the front desk tried to say the mess was from us. My room should have been a closet. I was right next to the elevator. The bed was perpendicular to the TV, the room was so small. All night I heard a loud humming and water gurgling, dripping. I think it may have been from the refrigerator in the room. Not sure what the loud hum was, maybe the ice machine or vending machine under my room. Very disappointed.
