So when we went to the hotel and checked in everything was ok but than later on that day the kids was playing in the pool and we noticed there was a roach in the pool area so we went to the worker and notified them and that’s when the worker started spraying saying we already aware of the issue it’s been an ongoing thing so I told the worker why didn’t you notify people about this problem so as we was heading back up to or room to leave we seen a pregnant roach on our window in the room. An employee was so incredibly rude to myself and my husband that it traumatized our 8yo daughter to the point that she wanted to leave. There is no overhead lighting in the room, and two of the lamps weren't working. There were not enough outlets for the lamps they had in the room, and it was incredibly dark. The room also was not very clean. Housekeeping never came to our room while we were there. We booked a 4 occupancy room, registered 3 people, and there were not enough towels in the room for us. Checked in at 6 or so, was there for our 30 year Unity Convention, at 9:50 my room mate said she saw a roach, talked with night desk associate, they offered a different room but I was insecure to do that requested a refund of the $255. I was told by the night associate that I would have to wait until Morning, Unfortunately, to drive back home Was an inconvenience.
