We were concerned after seeing some negative reviews of this hotel that had been left in recent weeks. We decided to go for it anyway seeing that this is one of the last known area "Holidomes" remaining from the 70s. The architecture of the Holidome is absolutely dated. Indoor plants with planters, spiral stair cases and wood structures. That being said, everything is well kept! Arcade - Mini-Golf - Pool area. This was probably a really nice hotel 20 years ago, but it isn't anymore. I first noticed something wasn't right when we drove around the back of the building. Windows are broken or covered in some sort of mold or mildew. Parking lot is all busted up. There is an old camper parked out there. Take a look at the water fountains that don't look like they have been cleaned in years . The caution tape tied to lawn chairs around the kids swimming pool. Duct tape holding the carpet together. We stayed m-f as my boyfriend goes to the carpenters school right down the road. They were able to accommodate an early check in and late check out. House keeping came by everyday to check in to make sure we didn’t need anything. Laundry services offered and only $2 ($4 for a fully wash and dry) the only complaint would be the pool area. The pool was freezing and the hot tub was lukewarm bath. The area was also a little dirty with trash.
