Our extended stay at this hotel was truly exceptional, largely due to the outstanding staff and comfortable accommodations. I recently stayed at the Quality Inn in Caribou, Maine and had a terrible experience. This hotel is not in a condition to be rented out, especially for the price they charge. Unsafe and Unsanitary Conditions: The hotel was in a shocking state of disrepair. Outside, there was litter scattered around the property, and I was concerned to see what appeared to be someone living in a tent in the back. Inside, the problems continued. Not Worth Your Money — Read Before Booking I originally left a negative review of this hotel due to serious cleanliness issues — roaches, fleas, and an overall lack of basic hygiene in the rooms. These weren’t isolated incidents; they were persistent problems that were ignored even after management changed. The hotel is in serious need of maintenance and remodeling. The ice machine was leaking all over the floor and had a full trash can of water behind with no ice in the machine. The outer security doors did not shut fully. My TV turned out at full volume every time and there were no local channels to watch news and weather.
