Absolutely the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. It smelled and they tried to cover it up with some type of deodorizer. Beds were hard and uncomfortable. This place is rundown and in desperate need of refurbishment. Room safe was not bolted down to anything. Looked like they got items wholesale and just put them in and didn’t care if they matched or fit.
Not clean. Rude front desk guy No operational business center Spotty WiFi Filthy shower curtain Shampoo dispenser empty All for a "mere" $170 rate including tax. Probably the worst hotel I've stayed at in that Lakeland/Plant City area.
I had to cancel my trip for sad personal reasons, but in dealing with the staff for both making, and cancelling my reservation was much more pleasant than I expected. During a time of duress, their kindness and professionalism shown through and were a bigger help than they probably realized.
We arrived with small kids after a long day at Disneyland. The lobby and elevator area had a very strong smell of cannabis coming from other rooms. Our assigned room had a heavy chemical smell. After inspecting the bed sheets, we decided to leave the place. The front lobby concierge refused to refund our family despite us being in the room for only 5-10 minutes.
