This hotel hit all the important marks, and was a place I'd stay again. The rooms were clean, the grounds felt safe, and we didn't hit any snags when checking in our out. My one minor note, was that the coffee was... not good. After the first morning we had to plan to go out and bring back some - the in-room machines were somehow worse than whatever was sitting in the cauldrons in the lobby.

Floor two smelled very strong of cat urine. Floors to curtains completely covered in stains. Would have been nice to know it’s also under construction

We have stayed here in the past and always loved this place even if it wasn't high class however it has went way down hill. They have more than doubled the price to stay here and this is easily a $50 a night hotel if even that. They are charging around $200 per night. Ridiculous! The place was dirty, no elevator for 2nd floor rooms, breakfast was minimal with no hot foods unless you toast it yourself. And the beds were broke down in the center. We checked in and went to the side door to walk to our room. There is construction going on outside, but we figured the room would be fine. Got into the hallway, and there was ceiling tiles missing with pipes showing. It seemed like there were some repairs going on with the pipes going all the way down the hall. Went into our room and was instantly hit with a mildew/musty smell. Walked over to the curtains to shut them, and the carpet was squishy/full of water.
