when I got to my room it was COVERED in mosquitos, moths, and other critters. I went to the lobby and asked for them to clean it. Me and my boyfriend left for about 30 minutes not even and came back to a partially cleaned room. Still a few moths and dead mosquitoes. It looked like they just dusted off the dead bugs from the bed and counters did minimal work and called it a day. I don’t even want to give this place 1 star but it wouldn’t let me post without it.
We LOVED Becki at the front desk!!! She was soooo helpful and provided great information for Cedar Point - arrive 30-60 minutes before the park opens for prime parking & bring a cooler with ice to place food to keep in the car. You can leave the park and reenter. We walked to our vehicle ate our lunch, then walked back in. We stopped at Walmart for sandwiches. Anyhooooo, it was convenient, the beds were cozy. Booked a room while on the turnpike, arrived about 5 minutes later, reservation was ready and I was in my room 5 minutes later! Super friendly staff, nice quiet rooms. Well appointed and clean!
I've stayed in a lot of cheap hotels, but this was the absolute dirtiest. Extensive mold in the bathroom and above the bed. A previous guest's soap, razor, and washcloth in the shower. A half can of corned beef hash in the refrigerator. Yuck
The following were wrong on our visit: -Hot tub heater not working. Under maintenance -No water or juice for breakfast -Sunny D was served not real orange juice -No meat or sides to go with the waffles -Waffles stick to iron when cooking -Limited breakfast options -Used lotion bottle in our room -Fridge unstable, wobbles -The pictures of the dining area is misleading.
