The room was nice and clean and the staff member serving breakfast and coffee was really nice. We would stay here again. On a negative note we felt a bit ripped off, when we arrived we found out the pool, spa and sauna were all out of action. We only stayed there for those and even went and bought new bathers and goggles for the girls. There was no mention of Any of this when we booked it and I just think that’s very misleading and we aren’t very happy.

Will never stay here again. I have been coming to Bendigo for several consecutive weeks for work and had not tried the Quality Inn Colonial, despite its excellent location (proximity) to my work site. I tried it (for the location) and couldn't decide which aspect was the worst. I think the general dirt and layers of grime in the room and bathroom. Essentially did not have a working toilet for our night here. I would have expected a decent refund for that but all I got was $30 off the $257 tab. The excuse given was that they couldn't refund any more because we booked through a third party site. Reader, we booked from the 1800 number provided on the Colonial site. At no point was it explained it was a third party booking system. Rooms old and tired. Look like they haven't been upgraded since the 80s

Very comfortable rooms, modern TVs can watch netflix, but shower in the room 6 was poor, also ants were inside
