This is a nice quiet little hotel with a pool, hot tub, and free breakfast bar. It has a nice view of Lake Superior on one side of the hotel. They offer 24 hr complimentary coffee and hot tea, vending machines, and ice. We have come here a few times now when visiting family. Our room has a beautiful shower and tub as well as amenities such as a small fridge and coffee/tea maker. And of course an ironing board and an iron. A great hotel on a great lake. The room was updated and clean, the beds were comfy and the views were pretty. We enjoyed the pool, which was clean and the perfect temperature. It was snowy so we didn't get to enjoy the lake, but it was a gorgeous view. The breakfast selection was good and the employees were all very nice and helpful. Plus the log cabin vibes were perfectly Northwoods. We will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful view of the bay where we saw tons of native birds (tundra swans, bald eagles). The service is so friendly. Feels like home type place. Rooms were clean although there is a musty smell walking in but no mold. They did have a dehumidifier running which I am sure being so close to the water like that can cause some struggles.
