Great stay at Quality Inn in Ashland, NH. Staff very accommodating. Room clean. We stayed in 2 room suite, which was well set up. Location right of the highway with great location. Room was quiet.
A Stay to Remember… But Not in a Good Way! Booked two nights but bailed after one. Between the upstairs guest auditioning for Stomp, the AC unit rattling like it was in its final death scene, and the musty “Eau de Old Cigarette” aroma, sleep was not an option. The fresh paint and new flooring are just a costume for what’s really going on: stained sheets, dingy towels, dirty walls, and a tub that deserved hazard pay. Save yourself the adventure and stay somewhere else.
I must start with the fact that we almost cancelled our reservation based on the recent reviews and I'm glad that we didn't. I'm not sure why there has been bad reviews lately. Next if you are booking on a third party site the information listed on the hotel is not always accurate/up-to-date and the hotel itself can't refund your money. AVOID!! The hotel is so poorly maintained that it does not overcome the few positive qualities it does possess: the beds are comfortable and the family that operates it interacts with you in a friendly way. Beyond that, this facility is on its last legs. The air quality in the rooms is so poor that after cleaning the A/C filters myself, I just had to turn it off and open the windows.
