Always a great place to stay when in the Bastrop area, whether for business or pleasure. Great staff and warm hearted individuals. At least as far as those I have had the pleasure of meeting. Pool is fenced in and provides a relaxing atmosphere and is very well maintained, just as the other amenities.

No elevator. Let's start there. The place is an older hotel... But the room was very very clean, the bed was comfortable, AC worked best on "dry" mode. The furniture was new. Unfortunately, the carpet looked new but there were coffee (hopefully) stains all over the carpet. I took a star because the curtains don't go flush against the wall and the bright security lights outside make it appear like it's daylight even in the middle of the night. We stayed at the Quality Inn from June 12th to June 15th, and unfortunately, the experience left a lot to be desired. The hot tub wasn’t even warm—it was nearly the same temperature as the pool. There were no pool towels available during our stay. Upon arrival, we noticed the sink water had a yellow tint. That became more concerning when we bathed our daughter and noticed paper-like debris coming from the tub faucet.
