It would be a struggle to find anything wrong here. The rooms are exceptional. Clean, spacious, lovely furnishings etc. But what lets many hotels down is a substandard bed. Not here though, a very very comfortable A H Beard mattress tops it off & wonderful they supported local Aussie business in the rebuild. Francas restaurant is very good & the staff very attentive. Honestly, the photos don’t do this place justice! Everything was very, very clean, and we came for our anniversary and were warmly welcomed by the lovely staff. The only thing I noticed, which I believe comes down to personal preference, was the shower pressure, as the hotel is committed to being environmentally friendly. Other than that, we had an amazing stay and would definitely come back again!
I have stayed at hotels all over the world… this has been the best hotel experience ever! The experience you have is what makes a stay memorable; our experience here is something we will rave about forever. Really enjoyed our stay here. Beautiful view over the Bay. Wish we could stay today and watch the storms over the bay.
Totally impressed with this unassuming hotel set along Geelong’s waterfront. Warm welcome from the concierge, spacious and thoughtfully appointed modern rooms.
