Not just a meal, an experience. A couple of weeks ago we had dinner at the Mexican restaurant in the same plaza. As we were walking to our car, we stopped and looked in the window of Quality Foods and immediately the chef opened the door and said hello. His friendly personality and obvious pride in his restaurant piqued our curiosity so we went home and made reservations. First time visitor and really enjoyed the entire slower pace of dining. Spectacular service. Chef Chris explained where the fresh ingredients are acquired from daily. He goes above and beyond in preparing the daily menu. We had the artichokes and mussels as appetizers. I have never had artichokes that were so tender and tasty just perfect! An Italophile is someone obsessed with Italy. That describes the chef behind the culinary adventru at this hidden gem. Reservations are a must and you will be asked to place a form of payment on your table, but do it - assuming you have the funds and know that quality food costs $$$. Absolutely amazing experience, as always. They had the tomahawk heritage ribeye this weekend and, once again, my husband and I were blown away. The freshness, the flavors, the portions, and of course the service are always beyond compare. I saw an Open Table review call what Chef Chris does magic, and I couldn't agree more!
