I expanded my living room. Even though it wasa small porject, they finished a week ahead of the scheduled and contracted time allowed fro teh project.
Quality First Builders came in after we had a very bad experience with another contractor. The original project was supposed to be a kitchen remodel, new flooring, lighting and opening up part of the living room. Instead, we ended up with half finished work, exposed areas, things done out of order and a lot of stress. By the time we called QFB we were tired and pretty suspicious of everyone. I think the reason we put off remodeling for so long was the thought of living through it. We have kids, work, school schedules, meals, laundry anddogs barking at every truck that passes the house and all the normal chaos. Adding construction on top of that just sounded awful. Before we started I honestly thought a garage ADU would feel like exactly that... a garage that someone tried to dress up. That was my biggest concern because this was for my brother and we wanted him to have a real place to live and not just a converted box in the backyard.
