I love it where they can meet me half-way from my residence in Pamlico County. So I don't have to drive slam to New Bern.
Walked into Quality Equipment/John Deere of New Bern roughly a week ago shortly after lunch. Mr. Tim Pollock greeted me. I informed him I was in the market for a lawn mower after my John Deere L110 quit after 20+ years of service. He showed me several different lawn tractors that John Deere offers, beginning with the "homeowner" grade for the 100 & 200 series mowers. Helpful and friendly service and parts departments. Large parts inventory.
Went on a Friday afternoon, looking to see what they had for riding lawn mowers. Looked at the mowers outside then went inside. I saw an employee sitting behind a desk and saw him glance in my direction, but he never acknowledged me. Walked around inside for a couple minutes, still with no acknowledgement. Then, just left and felt that if an employee couldn't at least put forth the effort to acknowledge a customer in the store, I wasn't going to put forth the effort to buy anything there.
Salesman Jordan is your man.. Great person to work with. I got two tractors.. sort of.. smaller one on the back is for grandson.. Thanks again Jordan
