Our basement always had a musty, damp smell that we couldn’t get rid of. We thought it was just the nature of basements, but after talking to a neighbor, we decided to get the air ducts cleaned. The technicians found mold spores and dust buildup inside the lower ducts connected to the basement HVAC zone. They cleaned everything out, sanitized the lines, and treated the system with an antimicrobial solution.
