Friendly staff, two short blocks to the beach, beautiful front porches (1st floor and 2nd floor) overlooking the quiet sidewalk and street, simple yet good rooms, clean, excellent umbrellas and chairs for the beach, coffee in the morning by 7:00 AM is included. An excellent value at one of the best beaches in the region.
Clean quiet and easy.
I booked last minute and stayed in an adorable room (4) on the 1st floor... 2 twin beds, a small but private bathroom, TV, large dresser and a fridge. Not fancy but very homey and comfortable...the beds and comforter were cozy and the AC and ceiling fan worked great. Spoke back and forth via email (and then in person) with Kevin and he was very helpful and kind. We utilized the complimentary beach towels, chairs and umbrella which was great...less we had to pack! The front desk and main salon area of the Inn were well kept and provided nice amenities like tea bar and towels and umbrellas for the beach. The staff who checked us in and out were friendly. The location of the inn was perfect. Super close to the beach and walking distance to neighboring Asbury Park. The Inn is also on a main street that has many shops and restaurants. We stayed in room 11. It was in definite need of some love and care. Old window unit air conditioner was very dusty as were the baseboards in the bathroom. ... read more
