Worst builder we have ever had to work with! We have bought 3 homes and this one by far has been the worst experience. Poor quality and poor customer service. Let’s start from the beginning. We signed a contract to build a Vincent floor plan with a third car garage and put a down payment on the lot. They were really far booked out for design. Up to this point, I have had a TERRIBLE experience with this builder. My lot was so poorly prepared that it has caused several issues. Firstly, and most importantly, they did not install a retainer wall for my lot and these walls happen to be ubiquitous along the street. They just left me a sloped pile of dirt that is eroding into my backyard. The surprising thing is they installed the retainer wall for my neighbor for free! It's hard to understand how they discriminate like this. Secondly, rain water is not draining to the ... read more

Update: Edge has been proactive in reaching a solution to correct the issue. Spencer has been awesome to work with, he has been professional and takes the problem very seriously. Edge has taken responsibility and is paying for any fix that will happen. Once the final plan is agreed upon, I would gladly change my review to either 4 or 5 stars based on my other experiences. We have had the worst time with Edge Homes. Long story short we have had a nightmare with flooding and gas leaks. Our backyard is 2,000 square feet and fil... read more
