Genoa Pharmacy is my new favorite pharmacy because of the atmosphere: its building is set up not looking like a typical pharmacy, more like a building which shares other office spaces. The gal who helped me when I called to inquire about medicine interactions, she was on it, & the info I received put my mind at ease. I'd like to consider them my new home-base pharmacy. Genoa pharmacy always has a specific medication often on backorder at every other pharmacy in town, and nationwide for that matter. I had this prescription successfully filled once at Genoa. The pharmacist then refused to fill my prescription citing "feeling uncomfortable" with patients utilizing more than one pharmacy. She stated her requirement "all" of her patients use the Genoa pharmacy exclusively. I have been using this pharmacy for over 5 years now and for the most part it's been good. I don't really go to the location often as I'm legally blind and I have a tendency to just have my meds ordered straight to my door. It's the core reason that I stay with them. When I first started using them as a company it was an amazing experience. There was always a friendly face and if I called in they always remembered my name. Even post transition. They have always gone above and beyond for me. Clean, courteous, quick, and professional. They are closed weekends, and daily from 12 to 1pm for lunch; so that's the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.
