The waiting room was extremely crowded with not enough chairs, and it took around 45 minutes to call just two patients. As I was only dropping off an already-collected specimen, a fast-track option for specimen drop-offs would be very helpful. My biggest concern was the lack of soundproofing in the collection rooms. Private medical information, including reasons for visits, could be clearly heard from the waiting room, as could patients’ names, dates of birth and addresses. This is a significant privacy concern. I had another blood test done at QML Pathologists - Brightwater Shopping Centre Mountain today and was lucky enough to have Kathy look after me. I’ve seen Kathy before, and she is absolutely wonderful. I’m extremely nervous around needles, but Kathy was so professional, kind, friendly and reassuring. She made me feel completely comfortable, talked me through everything and was so gentle that I honestly didn’t even feel the needle! Went there today, lady on her phone seemed annoyed she had to stop phone call, said to her I needed a urine test and was told they don’t do it , seemed like easy way out, so I rang Maroochydore and they said QML brightwater does do urine tests and apologised, not recommended

Kathy is amazing at drawing blood with my problem Chemo veins. I would recommend her to anyone anxious about blood tests as her caring, relaxed, nature is very calming.
