I had blood taken at QML Hope Island this morning. Thanks to Collector on duty who moved patients through efficiently and with polite care and attention. Wait times were minimised and I am sure everyone waiting appreciated her efficiency.
Was very busy Saturday, but the young nurse was fast, gentle and professional. She explained everything clearly with all of my consents, I was always very difficult to get blood so I know she done a good job.
I have been coming to QML Pathology Hope Island for years and have always had good experiences, which makes today especially disappointing. It was a very busy morning and the queue was not managed at all. People did not follow the order of arrival, and this created frustration among everyone waiting. The staff member stayed inside her office and simply yelled out “next,” without coming out to see how many people were waiting, who had been there the longest, or who had just walked in.
