Disgusting putting money before people
The lovely ladies there are wonderful and always make it a pleasant experience however the new system has people waiting an unsatisfactory amount of time and needs addressing.
More than 100 mins waiting for a blood test, they should seriously consider online bookings to save people's time.
I am really concerned to have witnessed the extreme level of undersupport for staff and their subsequent distress at the phillip street QML today. It was explained that recent staffing level decreases and local site closures, has added to the exceptional pressure to an already overwhelmed sector. I've had bloods taken by Julie at QML on several occasions and she was absolutely fantastic. I have very small, difficult veins that often collapse or stop flowing, and syringe suction simply doesn’t work for me. Julie listened to my request for the outer vein and butterfly vacutainer without hesitation or defensiveness, she understands that some patients genuinely know what works best for their body.
