I stood out the front of the QMRL at Stockland Burleigh with about 5 other people till 8.10am after getting there at 7.45 so fist in and no one turned up!! Now I have had to drive to treetops and Thera 8 people here it’s annoying as I have to work at 9 absolutely not good practice with updating google or the Qmrl website
The pathologist was excellent—gentle, professional, and I barely felt the blood draw. Unfortunately, one of my request forms had not been entered into the system, so I needed additional blood taken from my other arm. Those additional tests appear to have never been processed or linked to my record, as only part of my results were received. I always go here because it is easily accessible
I have found twice recently it has not been opened when the sign on the door indicates. Once on a Saturday where sign said it would be opened, website said it would be open, another patient was waiting also with their urine sample. Another visit, sign indicates lunch break, I was there before that as was another lady, I was there at 12.15, then had to wait until nearly 1.30. Staff shortage? ?
The pathologist at QML in Stocklands, Burleigh Waters is fantastic. He is very gentle and calm. I'm a very stressed needle-phobic person, but he is able to calm me down so he can get the blood test done. Highly recommend this place for location, staff and convenience.
