Terrible company, do not recommend QMI if customer service is important to you. Long lead times, lousy support, shoddy product, and impossible to get ahold of in a timely manner. Stay far away.
Looking for replacement parts for a security shutter. Dominick F. a service coordinator quoted me $19.86 for a replacement part. Not bad, then attached was $25.00 shipping, a bit high for the size of the item, and a $75.00 management fee. Which I was told is not a one time fee, but attached to any parts order. I would look elsewhere for your shutters to begin with if they make purchasing parts to repair their product this difficult.
This company charges not only for the Part only, But a $25 freight and a $50 Labor/Service fee on top of that. The part didn't weight more that 2 lbs. It was a 2 point lock hardware only. Beware

Unacceptable. Do not recommend Install took more than 5 months. Required me to take a week of work over that period of time because the company did not bring the right parts and required 5 separate install days. And then an additional two days because their contractor was a no show- totaling 7 days. The shutters were installed with scratches, dents and damages. QMI said we should fix this ourselves.
