Was sold a van and upon collection , the reverse Camera did not work and was told well its a 2nd hand van so no warranty, was told that the toilet flush fill was for something completely different. First trip out and the toilet flush pump doesn't work so we couldn't use the toilet, rusty bolts on the stone guard simply sprayed over, had to get electric brakes serviced because the emergency override did not lock up the van brakes. I would give no stars if that was an option. Purchased a second hand caravan for $88k at the advertised price. Had a few issues with a couple of items, eg automatic step fell out 5 mins down the road, toilet didn't flush etc was only a solenoid, moldy slats for bed, just to name a few. Had approval from manager (John Brennan -fantastic bloke) that we could get these repaires done and get reimbursed. John left and new manager (Peter Maggio) said it's not his problem and has refused to reimburse us. I said to him that Im sure ... read more
Purchased a used Fortitude Holiday 20 Caravan from Peter Maggio at Newgen Gympie. Peter from the first meeting was very obliging in every way. Good communication right up till the delivery day. Although we had a couple of minor issues with the van on our first trip away Peter was very quick to solve them and we now have a very comfortable caravan to enjoy. I would happily recommend Peter and for anyone who may be considering the purchase of a van to give him a call. All in all we are extremely happy with the purchase.
