These guys need to turn non emergency patients away. I had a major infection in my foot and was told to attend ED urgently at the behest of my GP so U could get IV antibiotics. I got there at 8:30 and sat in the waiting room til 2am. Got wheeled to a bed, but wasn’t seen by a doctor for another 2 hours after that! I didn’t receive IV antibiotics until around 4am. Had I waited any longer, the infection could have spread systemically! Meanwhile there were people with non-urgent issues seen before me who could have seen theirGP... read more

I was in today and waited 8 hours to get my scan, but the whole time the staff I encountered were friendly, professional and reassuring! Thank you all 🤗

I've always received amazing care at this hospital, so has my disabled father who has been coming to the hospital for care for 30+ years. While it's frustrating to wait, so many reviews from those saying they left after not wanting to wait, just goes to show they weren't experiencing emergencies and are just clogging the system when they could simply see a GP. Kudos to the staff who go above and beyond even though they're always so busy and over run by patience. They always prioritise those genuinely needing emergency care.
