I recently interfaced directly with the triage/emergency department at PRG. It was during the week that staff were implementing a new ehealth system. My husband was diagnosed with blood poisoning and we had to visit the hospital twice a day for IV antibiotics eight times before he was sent to Lions Gate. The staff were kind and courteous at all times, waiting in emergency is no fun at any hospital but they tried to get everyone through as fast as possible and the space was available. Thank you all for your friendliness and kindness.

I am currently dying. I've had sepsis for 8 days over 2 hospitals. Nanaimo now powell river. I am currently going into septic shock and the nurse doing blood work at both hospitals have impaled my arms and wiggled them around in my veins. I'm shock white, blood is poolingincmy hands and my finger tips are purple. I decided to go out on my own terms and have left the hospital. I have not been well for many days and I believe I am about to die tonight
