Sadly this will not be a favorable review. We live close by and have waited to try. Today we stopped in for lunch, standing at the counter under the "Order here sign" the gentlemen was busy weighing sandwiches, after a few he said I will be with you shortly, suddenly this big personalty saw us and asked "have you been here before"? Brisket sandwich was awesome! 1st visit in Smithfield today. Service was great! Gal was very attentive and answered all questions we had. Once we made up our minds food was ready in less than 5 minutes! Definitely recommend and will go back!
1:15pm. Ordered the regular sampler and fountain drink. Brisket and pork bbq were both really overcooked and just drenched in drippings. Must have been sitting for hours. Chicken tenders were great but hard to believe it cost $22 for drink, 3 small chicken tenders and very small portions of brisket and pork. Photo of meal after taking 1 bite of pork. Maybe the food quality is better at other locations. Wish I had tried the ribs and sausage instead.
The ribs didn't taste like they had any seasoning on them the sides were delicious
Favorite BBQ in the area! I almost always get the pulled pork, and my husband loves the brisket. All the sides are amazing as well!
