We have had two very poor experiences with this restaurant. Both times we have tried to arrive at around 8 pm (on the weekend) and they have closed early. Tonight we called at 7:30 saying we are going to arrive at 8 pm just to be told on arrival that they are “sold out of rice.” This same thing happened a few months ago when we called at 8 asking if we could eat at 8:30 and they said no. Called ahead to let them know we had a group of 11 coming in 30 minutes, arriving about 1 hour prior to their listed closing time. The person who answered the phone said ok you can come. When we arrived at 7:50 they said they are closing and are sold out of food and would not seat us.
The food was okay, but I would probably choose a different restaurant next time. Unfortunately, the wait staff was quite unpleasant, which affected the overall experience. I ordered the bibimbap, and the portion of meat was surprisingly small—there was barely a spoonful.
