My granddaughter was admitted to Pyramid, per her Medicaid insurance, for a 28 day stay. She was settled into the program for 2 weeks only to be pulled out of class to let her know that this facility is a 3.5 level facility and her Medicaid would only cover a 3.1 level. That should have been addressed before she was even admitted. They told her she was going to have to leave immediately. She then got sick with a bad cough with a 102° fever. I do not have a review of the program quite yet, but I do admit that when I left yesterday evening after dropping off some items for my brother, I was a little apprehensive. But I do want to say that my brother heard about Pyramid while he was incarcerated. I tried to get in touch with them at his request but was not successful (not because of them but because I did not have all of the correct information). Counselors were great...however the hall people and lower payed employees were horrible...and if you put in a greivance about theyre employees terrible conduct.they will ship you outta there early..to another place that doesn't even accept your insurance..to get rid of you.they did not have my best interest in mind..they had theyre best interest in mind..and never cared to respond to the grievance..only responded in sending me outta there early..to another program in another city that my insurance didn't even cover..and I kn... read more

They kicked ME (AARON CARTER) OUT. Over a misunderstanding that wasn't my fault. I came for help and got side affects of MOLD from the unit, disrespect, unprofessionalism and blatant disregard for anyone truly seeking substance abuse treatment. I'm currently working on a lawsuit because the way I was treated was despicable. Even the staff there are on drugs.
